Rosa De Luca (São Paulo, SP, 1961)

Formada em Artes pelo Liceo Artistico di Salerno, na Itália, sua carreira como fotógrafa teve início em 1984, com a exposição individual São Paulo Cromática, realizada no Centro Cultural São Paulo. Em 1986, mudou-se para Milão, onde estagiou no Super Studio. De volta ao Brasil, em 1990, passou a atuar na área de fotografia de moda. Participou com ensaios fotográficos de diversas exposições, entre as quais se destacam individuais e coletivas, como Salão Aberto paralelo à Bienal (Li Photogallery, São Paulo, 2004), Talentos da Comunicação (Fundação Bienal de São Paulo, São Paulo, 2004), Brasiliens Gesichter (Ludwig Museum, Colônia, 2005), Acqua (Conjunto Cultural da Caixa Econômica Federal, São Paulo, 2005), Núcleos Contemporâneos II e III ( Valú Ória Galeria de Arte, São Paulo, 2006 e 2008) Fotografias (Valú Ória Galeria de Arte, São Paulo, 2006) e SP Arte (Valú Ória Galeria de Arte, São Paulo, 2007, 2008 e 2009). Em 2007, publicou seu primeiro livro de fotografias, Contemporânea Arte Artistas, retratando 60 dos mais importantes nomes da cena artística atual (Alles Trade). Em 2008, com fotos de seu segundo livro, Arte Vida Sul Bahia, expôs na Casa das Artes, em Trancoso e na Galeria Candido Portinari – Embaixada do Brasil (Roma), em 2009. Expôs também individualmente na Galeria Emei-Pedroso (fotos sobre São Paulo) e na Valú Ória Galeria de Arte (Tardes de Mar), ambas em 2009. Vive e trabalha em São Paulo.

After graduating in fine arts from the Liceo Artistico of Salerno (Italy), Rosa de Luca started her career in photography in 1984 with the sole exhibition São Paulo Cromática at the Centro Cultural São Paulo. In 1986 she moved to Milan, working and studying under an internship at Super Studio. Returning to Brazil in 1990, she began working in fashion photography. She exhibited photographic essays in various sole and group exhibitions, including: Salão Aberto Paralelo à Bienal (Li Photogallery, 2004); Talentos da Comunicação (São Paulo Bienal Foundation, 2004); Brasiliens Gesichter (Ludwig Museum, 2005); Acqua (at the Conjunto Cultural of the Federal Savings Bank, São Paulo); and Núcleos Contemporâneos II and II (Valú Ória gallery, 06,08) SP Art - Fair of São Paulo ,published her first photography book in 2007,Contemporânea Arte Artistas,portraying 60 of the most prominent brazilian contemporary artists (edited by Alles Trade) Her second book,Arte Sul Bahia is being released in 2008. In 2008, with photos of its according to book, Art Life South Bahia, it displayed in the House of the Arts, Trancoso and the Gallery Candido Portinari - Embassy of Brazil (Rome), in 2009. It also displayed individually in the Emei-Pedroso Gallery (photos on São Paulo) and in the Valú Ória Gallery of Art (Tardes De Mar), both in 2009. It lives and it works in São Paulo.
